Another bar, The Rooftop.
Located on the Roof of the Trafalgar St.James hotel, overlooking trafalgar square and St.James' park it is an excellent rooftop location. Unlike a lot of European cities there aren't 20 other rooftop bars in sight, you feel all alone in your secluded bar looking over the top of London.
When we went up it was freezing, like 5 degrees cold. We were given blankets which helped a lot and we spent 2 hours up in the bar, drinking to our hearts content. However the manager has informed me they have purchased some heaters which should be there by now. So go and enjoy your winter evenings up on The Rooftop!
London is quieter from above, not much, but definitely quieter. We loved it as a bar, and it wasn't insanely expensive for a rooftop bar in the centre of London, it was obviously still expensive for anyone not used to ridiculous London prices, beers were £6-7 and Cocktails £11-18.
I wouldn't recommend making it your local, but for a one off it is a great place to go for a drink. Thoroughly recommended.
Good bar. Great View.
