The Sourdough Chronicles - Day 3

You’ve made it to day 3! Well done! Hopefully by now your starter should have a fair amount of bubbles and be smelling slightly sour. If it’s isn’t, leave it for a bit longer (another 12 hours) to make sure it’s alive.


The next step is adding 80g of rye flour and 80g of water to your starter and mixing it in.


Cover and the leave in a warm place for another 24 hours.
